🎯 What is Movie Grid?

MovieGrid is the daily movie-actor connection game from moviegrid.io. Each day the puzzle drops a 3×3 grid of movie-related clues (usually a mix of actor names, director names, character names, and movie titles) and asks you to find the connections that link each row and column.

The format is closer to a movie-themed Connections than to a standard Immaculate Grid. Each cell at the intersection of a row and column gives you two criteria, and a single movie or actor can fill multiple cells if it matches both. The site also runs related puzzles: Movie Pyramid, Movie Reveal, Sports Reveal, and Movie Snake.

💡 How to Play Movie Grid

Open moviegrid.io to see today's 3×3 grid of movie-related clues.
Read the row and column clues for each cell. Each cell has two criteria — usually an actor/director and a movie title, character, or release year.
Type a movie title, actor name, or director name into any cell. The site accepts a wide range of mainstream films and famous names from cinema history.
Submit your guess. If the answer matches the cell's two criteria, the cell fills in green; correct guesses that also match other cells fill those in too.
Wrong guesses don't cost you attempts, but they don't fill cells either. Use process of elimination — once you know eight of the nine, the last one usually falls into place.
Solve as many cells as possible. The site tracks your daily score and the archive keeps past puzzles for replay.
