Moviedle
đ¯ What is Moviedle?
Moviedle is a daily movie guessing game that opens with a single one-second clip of the day's mystery film, scrubbed down from its normal length. With each wrong guess the clip gets a little longer, so by the time you run out of attempts the whole scene has played out in slow chunks.
The clips come from a wide library of films â blockbusters, cult favorites, foreign releases, and older classics â so the puzzle rewards breadth as much as it rewards knowing your way around a frame. A new movie is published every day and the answer is identical for every player, which makes it easy to compare notes with friends after the daily reveal.
đĄ How to Play Moviedle
- Go to moviedle.xyz to see today's puzzle: a one-second snippet from a movie, sped up so an hour of footage can fit inside a single guess.
- Type the name of a movie you think the clip could be from, then press Guess. The site accepts original titles and the most common English release names.
- If your guess is wrong, the next clip you see is longer than the last. A wrong guess at second 1 might stretch to two seconds, then three, gradually unspooling more of the scene.
- Use the extra footage to lock in on visual cues: a costume, a piece of furniture, a setting, a familiar actor's silhouette, or a recognizable line of dialogue at the end of the clip.
- You have six guesses total. The earlier you solve it, the better your score â solving on the first one-second clip is the bragging-rights goal.
- A new Moviedle drops every day, and the previous answer drops out of the live puzzle the moment the next one starts.
