Tennisdle
đ¯ What is Tennisdle?
Tennisdle is the daily tennis puzzle bundle from tennisdle.com. Every day at 8 AM ET the site drops a fresh set of challenges for people who watch too much tennis â four little games, each one a different angle on the pro tour.
The bundle covers four daily modes: Which Pro asks you to identify a mystery tennis player from a shrinking set of clues, with every miss unlocking another hint; Whose Grunt plays an audio clip of a player's signature grunt for you to name, and is harder than it sounds; Higher or Lower is an endless streak game where you compare two pros on a single career stat; and Trivia serves three tennis questions a day drawn from tour history, Grand Slam records, and head-to-head trivia.
đĄ How to Play Tennisdle
- Open tennisdle.com at or after 8 AM ET to see today's four challenges and a countdown to the next refresh.
- Start with Which Pro. Read the first free hint â usually a broad attribute like era or surface specialty â and decide whether to guess now or wait for more clues.
- Type a pro's name to lock in your guess. A wrong guess reveals another attribute (handedness, country, ranking peak, Grand Slam count, coach, etc.), and a correct guess ends the round.
- Move on to Whose Grunt when you're ready for a tougher test. Press play, listen to the audio clip, and name the player. Grunts are surprisingly similar across eras, so process of elimination often beats raw memory.
- Play Higher or Lower as an endless side mode. The site shows two pros and a stat (titles, ranking, prize money, weeks at #1), and you pick which pro has the higher number. A wrong answer ends the streak.
- Finish with Trivia â three multiple-choice questions covering tour history, records, and personalities. Your daily score is the sum across all four modes.
- Come back the next morning for a fresh set. There's no global streak system, but the daily reset keeps the schedule predictable for tennis fans in any region.
đ Tips for Playing
- Start with a broad guess to gather as much information as possible
- Pay attention to every piece of feedback â even small details matter
- Think about what's unique or distinctive about the clues you've received
- Practice daily to build your pattern recognition skills
- Share your results with friends to compare strategies
