💡 How to Play Immaculate Grid

1. Open sports-reference.com/immaculate-grid and pick your sport — baseball, men's basketball, women's basketball, football, hockey, or soccer.
2. Read the grid. Each row and column intersection is tagged with two criteria — usually a team and a stat threshold like 40+ WAR, played Left Field, etc.
3. Type a player's name into any cell. Immaculate Grid pulls from the sport's full historical database — Hall of Famers, journeymen, role players, and active stars are all in play.
4. Submit your guess. If the player matches the cell's criteria, the cell fills in green; if they match additional cells on the same row or column, those cells fill too.
5. If the guess is wrong for the targeted cell, the game tells you. Wrong guesses don't cost you, but they do waste one of your nine attempts.
6. Complete as many of the nine cells as possible. Each sport has its own daily grid and a separate streak, and the puzzles archive back through Grid #1.
