Missing 11
đ¯ What is Missing 11?
Missing 11 is a daily football (soccer) line-up guessing game from playfootball.games. Each day the puzzle drops a real team's actual starting eleven â with the player names removed â and asks you to fill in the missing names from your knowledge of that team's squad.
The teams span the Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A, Ligue 1, the Champions League, the World Cup, and the European Championships. Difficulty scales with the era and the club â modern Manchester City line-ups are nearly impossible, while obscure World Cup squads from the 1990s are the most guessable.
đĄ How to Play Missing 11
- Open playfootball.games/missing-11 and pick today's puzzle. The site shows you a real team's starting line-up with the player names blanked out.
- Read the team and the formation (4-3-3, 4-4-2, 3-5-2, etc.) to anchor your search. The era and the manager give strong clues about the squad.
- Type a player name into any blank slot. The site accepts any footballer who actually appeared in that line-up.
- Submit your guess. Correct answers fill the slot in green and unlock adjacent slots if you know another player on the same team.
- Wrong guesses don't cost you attempts, but they don't fill cells either. Use process of elimination â if you know nine of the eleven, the last two usually fall into place.
- Complete the line-up and a shareable emoji grid appears. Streaks and stats save to your browser.
