đ¯ What is Sumplete?
Sumplete is the daily number-logic puzzle from sumplete.com. Each day the puzzle drops a 5Ã5 (or 7Ã7) grid of numbers with target sums listed on the right and bottom edges. Your job is to delete numbers so that each row and column adds up to its target.
The format is closer to Sudoku or Kakuro than to Wordle. Each cell has three states: blank (unknown), crossed out (deleted), and circled (kept). You click to cycle through the states, and the goal is to make every row and column sum to its target. The site also offers an Unlimited mode for 3Ã3 through 9Ã9 grids at adjustable difficulty.
đĄ How to Play Sumplete
- Open sumplete.com and pick Daily 5Ã5 (standard) or Daily 7Ã7 (the master version).
- Read the target sums on the right and bottom edges. Each row must add up to its right-side target; each column must add up to its bottom target.
- Click any cell to mark it. One click = red cross (deleted); two clicks = green circle (kept); three clicks = back to blank.
- Start with the smallest target sums. A row with a target of 0 means every cell must be deleted; a target equal to a single cell means that cell is kept and the rest are deleted.
- Click a target sum to auto-mark the remaining cells in that row or column. Click a 0 target and the whole row or column clears automatically.
- Solve every row and column to complete the puzzle. Your solve time is recorded on the leaderboard, and a 7Ã7 master version resets daily.
