🎯 What is Mathler?
Mathler is the daily math-equation guessing game from mathler.com. Each day the puzzle picks a hidden arithmetic expression of a fixed length and asks you to find it in six guesses. Each guess must be a valid equation using +, −, ×, ÷, and =, and the cells color green (correct position), yellow (in the equation but wrong position), or black (not in the equation).
The site is a sibling of Nerdle with a more constrained format — the equation is shorter (usually 6-8 characters) and the pool of valid equations is smaller, so the puzzle rewards quick arithmetic intuition. The same equation goes out to every player worldwide at the daily reset.
💡 How to Play Mathler
- Open mathler.com to see today's empty equation grid. The target length is usually 6-8 characters.
- Type a valid arithmetic equation of the correct length into the first slot — something like 12+34=46 or 8×9=72.
- Submit your guess. Green tiles mean the character is correct and in the right position; yellow tiles mean it's in the equation but in a different position; black tiles mean it isn't in the equation at all.
- Use the colored feedback to build your next guess. Lock in green tiles, swap yellow tiles to new positions, and stop using black characters.
- Two strong opening equations that mix small digits with operators usually reduce the answer space to a handful of candidates by guess three.
- Solve the equation in six tries or fewer. A shareable emoji grid appears with your daily result.
