🎯 What is Numdle?
Numdle is the daily math-guessing game from numdle.app, built around a hidden equation. Each day the puzzle picks a valid arithmetic equation — using +, −, ×, ÷, and = — and challenges you to recreate it in a fixed number of guesses using color-coded tile feedback.
The format mirrors Wordle's letter-grid mechanic but with digits and operators. Each cell colors green if it's correct and in the right position, purple if the character is in the equation but in the wrong place, and black if it isn't in the equation at all. The daily equation is consistent worldwide.
💡 How to Play Numdle
- Open numdle.app to see today's empty equation grid.
- Type a valid arithmetic equation of the correct length into the first slot — something like 12+34=46 or 8×9=72.
- Submit your guess. Green tiles mean the character is correct and in the right position; purple tiles mean it's in the equation but in a different position; black tiles mean it isn't in the equation at all.
- Use the colored feedback to build your next guess. Lock in green tiles, swap purple tiles to new positions, and stop using black characters.
- Two strong opening equations that mix small digits with operators usually reduce the answer space to a handful of candidates by guess three.
- Solve the equation in six tries or fewer. A shareable emoji grid appears with your daily result.
