🎯 What is Summle?

Summle is the daily number-arithmetic game from summle.net. Each day the puzzle drops a target number at the top of the screen and a set of number tiles at the bottom. Your job is to combine the tiles using +, −, ×, and ÷ to reach the target in five steps or fewer.

The puzzle is closer to the New York Times Numbers game than to a Wordle. Each step uses the result of the previous step as a starting point, and yellow subtotal tiles unlock as you progress. The goal is to use as few steps as possible — fewer than the target step count earns you a streak bump.

💡 How to Play Summle

Open summle.net to see today's target number and the number tiles at the bottom of the screen.
Click two tiles and an operator to create your first sum. The result appears as a yellow subtotal tile.
Click a tile (or a previous subtotal) and an operator to continue the chain. Each step uses the result of the previous step as a starting point.
Reach the target number in five steps or fewer. You can use each number tile once, and you don't have to use all of them.
If you're stuck, click Get a hint. Summle offers hints that range from a single operator reveal to a full solution.
Solve the puzzle in as few steps as possible. Junior Mode uses times tables up to 12; Normal is standard difficulty; Hard Mode is more challenging; Extreme Mode has only one possible solution.
