đŸŽ¯ What is Harmonies?

Harmonies is a daily music-connections game from harmonies.io, built by the same studio behind Spotle and Crosstune. Instead of guessing a song or artist, you're given a 4×4 grid of song titles, album names, or artist names and asked to find four hidden groups of four that share something in common.

Each puzzle has exactly four groups of four items, and you have four mistakes before the round ends. The categories can be anything from "albums released in the same year" to "songs from the same artist" to "tracks from a specific film soundtrack."

💡 How to Play Harmonies

  1. Open harmonies.io (portrait orientation) and look at today's 4×4 grid of sixteen song titles, album names, or artist names.
  2. Click four items you think belong together. Selected items highlight in your group's color.
  3. Press Submit to lock in your guess. A correct group disappears from the grid; a wrong guess counts as one of your four mistakes.
  4. Read the categories carefully when groups are revealed. "Songs from 2010" looks similar to "Songs from 2011" — the differences are the trick.
  5. Use the Shuffle button to reorder the items if you're staring at a grid you've already scanned and want a fresh perspective.
  6. Tap on a revealed group to see what the connection was. The connections are usually musical but the puzzle sometimes leans on wordplay or shared producers.
  7. Solve all four groups without running out of mistakes. A new puzzle drops at the daily reset, and the Archive stores the previous few weeks.
