đŸŽ¯ What is Daydle?

Daydle is the daily "guess the year on this day in history" game from daydle.com. Each day the puzzle drops three historical events that all happened on the same calendar day (just different years) and asks you to guess the year all three events occurred.

The format is similar to Yeardle but with a different mechanic: instead of guessing a year, you guess a calendar day. The events span decades and centuries, and the goal is to triangulate the day within eight attempts using color-coded feedback.

💡 How to Play Daydle

  1. Open daydle.com to see today's three historical events and the prompt to guess the day they all occurred.
  2. Read the three events carefully. Look for time-specific clues (a ruler's reign, a war's duration, an invention's date) to anchor your guess.
  3. Type a date into the input in MM/DD format (or your locale's equivalent).
  4. Submit your guess. The site tells you how close you are with color-coded feedback — green means very close, yellow means somewhat close, gray means far.
  5. Use the feedback to triangulate. Each guess narrows the possible date range; two or three well-chosen guesses usually land on the right day.
  6. Solve within 8 tries and a shareable emoji grid appears. Streaks save to your browser.
