🎯 What is Waffle?

Waffle is the daily word-swap game from wafflegame.net. Each day the puzzle drops a 5×5 grid of letters arranged into a crossword-like structure, but the words are scrambled — the goal is to swap adjacent letters until every row and column spells a real English word.

Unlike Wordle, every Waffle can be solved without any new letters; you're just rearranging the existing tiles. The site tracks the number of swaps you used and awards stars for every swap you have remaining under the optimal 10-swap minimum.

Drag any letter to swap it with an adjacent letter. Valid swaps highlight the affected row and column.
Read the on-screen feedback. Letters in the correct position turn green; letters in the wrong position but the right word turn yellow; letters not in the target word stay gray.
Work the corners first. Corner letters belong to only two words (one row and one column), so they're easier to lock in early.
Count your moves against the 15-swap budget. Every Waffle can be solved in 10 swaps — anything under 15 earns stars.
Solve the day in as few swaps as possible. Streaks, total stars, and your daily distribution save to your Waffle account if you log in.
