🎯 What is Pinpoint?

Pinpoint is the daily category guessing game from LinkedIn Games. Each day the puzzle drops a single category (usually a few words or a short phrase) and asks you to find the exact word or phrase the category is pointing to. You have a limited number of guesses, and each wrong guess tells you how close you are.

The game is part of LinkedIn's daily puzzle suite (alongside Queens, Crossclimb, and Tango). The same puzzle goes out to every LinkedIn member worldwide, and the goal is to find the precise answer the category describes in as few guesses as possible.

💡 How to Play Pinpoint

Open linkedin.com/games/pinpoint and look at today's category. It's usually a short phrase that hints at a single word or concept.
Type your first guess into the input. Pinpoint accepts any word or short phrase.
Submit to lock in your guess. Pinpoint tells you whether you're getting warmer — the closer your guess is to the answer, the warmer you are.
Use the temperature feedback to triangulate. A warm guess means you're in the right semantic neighborhood; a cold guess means try a different angle.
You have five guesses total. Solving on guess one is the rarest possible outcome; solving on guess five still counts.
A new puzzle drops daily. Your streak and guess distribution save to your LinkedIn account.
