🎯 What is Octordle?

Octordle is the daily eight-board Wordle from britannica.com. Each day the puzzle drops eight simultaneous Wordle boards, all hidden behind a single input — you make one guess and the letters apply to all eight boards at once. The goal is to solve all eight grids within thirteen total guesses.

It's the extreme end of the multi-board Wordle genre. With eight boards to juggle and thirteen guesses to do it in, the puzzle rewards careful letter selection and strategic tracking of which board needs the most attention. The same five-letter English vocabulary as standard Wordle.

Type a five-letter English word into the single input box and press Enter. Your guess applies to all eight boards at once.
Read the color feedback on each board. Green tiles mean the letter is in the answer and in the right position; yellow tiles mean the letter is in the answer but in a different position; gray tiles mean the letter isn't in the answer at all.
Pick your first word to cover a wide range of letters — something with common consonants and vowels. CRANE, ADIEU, STARE, and AUDIO are classics.
Use the remaining guesses strategically. With thirteen guesses across eight boards, you need to balance which board needs the most attention — usually solving the easiest two or three boards fully frees up guesses for the harder ones.
Solve all eight boards before you run out of guesses. A shareable emoji grid appears with your daily score.
