🎯 What is Dordle?

Dordle is the original two-board Wordle from zaratustra on itch.io. Each day the puzzle drops two simultaneous Wordle boards, all hidden behind a single input — you make one guess and the letters apply to both boards at once. The goal is to solve both grids within seven total guesses.

Dordle was the first multi-board Wordle variant and inspired the broader Quordle/Octordle/Sedecordle family. It uses the same five-letter English vocabulary as standard Wordle, but the two-board format forces you to think strategically about which letters to commit to first.

💡 How to Play Dordle

Open the Dordle page on itch.io to see today's two empty 5×6 grids.
Type a five-letter English word into the single input box and press Enter. Your guess applies to both boards at once.
Read the color feedback on each board. Green tiles mean the letter is in the answer and in the right position; yellow tiles mean the letter is in the answer but in a different position; gray tiles mean the letter isn't in the answer at all.
Pick your first word to cover a wide range of letters — CRANE, ADIEU, STARE, and AUDIO are classics.
Use the remaining guesses strategically. With seven guesses across two boards, you need to balance which board needs the most attention.
Solve both boards before you run out of guesses. A shareable emoji grid appears with your daily score.
