🎯 What is Crosswordle?

Crosswordle is the daily Wordle-crossword hybrid from crosswordle.com. Each day the puzzle drops a 7×7 (or 9×9) grid of intersecting words where every letter is visible but scrambled — the goal is to swap adjacent letters until every row and column spells a real English word.

It combines Wordle's color-coded feedback with the intersecting structure of a crossword puzzle. Each letter turns green (correct position), yellow (right word, wrong position), or gray (different word). Crosswordle has four flavors — Classic (words), Sports, Music, and Movies — each with its own daily puzzle.

💡 How to Play Crosswordle

Open crosswordle.com to see today's scrambled 7×7 (or 9×9) letter grid.
Tap a letter to select it. It turns blue.
Tap a second letter to swap their positions. Each swap costs one move.
Read the color feedback. Green letters are in the correct position; yellow letters are in the right word but need to move; gray letters belong in a different word.
Start with the word that has the most green letters and work outward as more positions lock in.
Solve the grid within the swap budget. Every Crosswordle can be solved with 6 swaps remaining, and finishing with that margin earns a perfect 6-star score.
A new puzzle drops daily. Unlimited 7×7 and 9×9 practice modes are available, plus a full archive of past puzzles.
