Cell Tower
đ¯ What is Cell Tower?
Cell Tower is the daily cell-tower identification puzzle from andrewt.net. Each day the puzzle drops a real cell-tower photograph â usually a tall monopole, a tower with multiple antennas, or a small-cell installation on a building â and asks you to identify the type, location, or carrier in a fixed number of guesses.
The puzzle rewards players who recognize the visual signatures of different carriers (the antenna configurations, the equipment cabinets, the brand colors) and different tower types (macrocell, microcell, small cell, rooftop, stealth). The same photograph goes out to every player worldwide at the daily reset.
đĄ How to Play Cell Tower
- Open andrewt.net/puzzles/cell-tower to see today's cell-tower photograph and the daily countdown.
- Study the photo. Look for the antenna configuration, the equipment cabinets, the brand colors, the mounting (monopole, lattice, rooftop), and any visible signage or carrier identifiers.
- Type your answer into the input. The site accepts carrier names (Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, etc.), tower types (macrocell, small cell, rooftop), or location guesses.
- Submit your guess. Correct answers end the round; wrong guesses unlock the next clue â usually a partial image reveal, a region hint, or a frequency-band hint.
- Use the progressive clues to triangulate. Two or three clues together usually narrow the answer to a single carrier or tower type.
- Solve within the attempt limit and a shareable score card appears. Streaks save to your browser.
