🎯 What is Phoodle?

Phoodle is the daily food Wordle from phoodle.net. Each day the puzzle picks a five-letter food-related word — usually an ingredient, dish, cuisine, or cooking technique — and asks you to identify it in six guesses using the standard Wordle color feedback.

The site is the food world's answer to Wordle. The word pool draws from across cuisines: pasta names, fruit and vegetables, cooking verbs, regional dishes, and pantry staples. Knowing the difference between ramen and pho, or between udon and soba, gives you an edge.

Open phoodle.net to see today's empty five-letter grid.
Type a five-letter food word into the first row. Strong openers include common ingredients (BREAD, FLOUR, SUGAR, PASTA) and cooking verbs (SAUTE, GRILL).
Submit your guess. Green tiles mean the letter is correct and in the right position; yellow tiles mean it's in the word but in a different position; gray tiles mean it isn't in the word at all.
Use the color feedback to build your next guess. Lock in green letters, swap yellow letters to new positions, and stop using gray letters.
Two strong opening guesses usually reduce the answer space to a handful of candidates by guess three.
Solve the word in six tries or fewer. A shareable emoji grid appears with your daily result, and the site tracks your streak and guess distribution.
